The Parkhotel is a rather new building with spacious, friendly rooms in the Franconian lake district. We had a cosy suite of rooms consisting of a large living room, a bedroom and a large, elegant bathroom. The location is great and the included breakfast is quite good. As for the beds...they are quite stiff and not comfortable at all. The bathrooms are quite good with the exception of a poorly designed shower that makes half the bathroom wet while showering. When you get out of the shower you will be in a small pool of water.
The spa area features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, a steam room, a Finnish sauna and an infrared sauna. The only downside is that the spa area is rather small for the number of guests the hotel can accomodate. We were lucky that the hotel was not fully booked when we were there. But even then we had sometimes trouble to find free loungers.
